MISSIONS
TRIP
the mission
From July 9—July 25, a group of eight students and four leaders will go on a short term mission trip to Czech Republic through a mission organization called Josiah Venture. Josiah Venture’s vision is to be a “movement of God among the youth of Central and Eastern Europe that finds its home in the local church and transforms society.”
Our work centers on partnering with the local Czech church as we run an English-Sports Camp. English class is taught each morning and the rest of camp consists of games, worship, evening messages and small groups. The gospel will be clearly shared in a variety of settings while we are at camp.
the work
the reality
Following years of Communism, these students are the first generation to grow up in the current era of freedom. Czech Republic is a spiritually needy nation and one of the most atheistic countries on earth. However, the young people of Czech Republic now have many opportunities that their parents never had, but they still know very little about Jesus Christ and the eternal hope of His gospel.
